If there are two things us Gold Coasters love more than beach time and Saturday breakfast dates, it’s top-notch coffee and craft beer.
So you can bet we were dang excited to hear two of the Coast’s most celebrated brands, Balter and Blackboard are teaming up for one cool evening shindig, “Beneath the Brew” hosted by another of our faves, Warehouse No. 5.
Next Wednesday, December 7, good friends Nick Pearce of Blackboard Coffee and Stirling Howland, co-founder of Balter Brewing Company will be sharing their deepest darkest secrets (okay, maybe not the darkest ones) and what goes into building a successful and fulfilling business. The event promises to “explore how their innovative products, customer experience, and physical establishments are creating subcultures, connecting with the broader community and, in turn, playing their part in redefining the Gold Coast culture.” Intrigued? Us, too!
Maybe you don’t have aspirations to dominate your chosen field, but learning about two home-grown success stories, and networking with fellow cool peeps sounds decidedly better than whatever you had planned next Wednesday (which was probably nothing, riiiight?). Tickets are just $32 +BF and include a Balter beer or Blackboard coffee on arrival. Plus, Gold Coast’s finest wood-fired Mexican food truck, Zicatela will also be on hand if you get #hangry.
Knowing their loyal local following, tickets will get snapped up fast so jump onto the event page now and secure yours. Cheers!
