There’s news, then there’s NEWS, and we’re pretty sure anything related to Making A Murderer falls under the latter.
So here it is… the NEWS we’ve all been not-so-silently waiting for—Netflix has just announced they’re going to jump back into the story of convicted murderer Steven Avery and his nephew slash co-defendant Brendan Dassey, to uncover even more dirt in a stash of new Making A Murderer episodes. We kid you not!
The next chapter in this long-winded “did they or didn’t they?” story, will get fans—which, let’s admit it, is pretty much anyone with internet access—up to date on the post-conviction process. Producers have vowed to keep documenting the events as they unfold but, for now, you can expect insights from Avery’s new lawyer and Dassey’s legal team, as well as a close look at the toll it’s taken on everybody close to the case.
Guys, this is seriously HUGE! Whether you’ve been busy signing petitions to get these guys out of jail or are a staunch non-believer, it’s hard to deny the effect this true crime saga has had on the world since it was released back in 2015. #cultfollowing seems like one giant understatement.
While there’s no set date for the rolling out of the new instalments or word on how many episodes there will be, one thing is for sure—the edge of your seat is about to get very, very worn out. You’ve be warned!
