Autumn may not be everyone’s favourite season weather-wise, but beauty wise, it’s a winner! As much as we love the colour pops, beachy waves and sun kissed skin of summer, we can’t wait to rock the burgundy, wine reds and plum hues that come hand-in-hand with Autumn beauty trends. Here are The Urban List’s favourite looks for Autumn 2015.

Graphic eyeliner

An update on the cat-eye flick, this look is bolder and creates a statement eye, perfect for nights out. Get the look yourself with a thick brush and liquid eyeliner in the blackest shade you can find. Make sure you practice first, ‘cos this is one you can’t afford not to get exactly right.

Rosy cheeks

Get cheeks that look like you’ve just hopped off the slopes by going for a cream blush in a light pink hue. Make sure the rest of your makeup is subtle to avoid looking over-the-top and pair with a cute (faux!) fur stole or coat for the ultimate in Autumn-chic.

Metallic eye shadow

Metallic eyes… Are you sure?! This one sounds a bit space-agey, but trust us, you’re going to want to try it! Opt for warm rose golds and bronze hues and don’t be shy! Go for a bold layer and lashings of mascara for the perfect party look.

Auburn brown hair

Brown hair looking a little tired but too scared to go for a complete overhaul? Ask your hairdresser for chestnut highlights for all-over auburn locks that will match perfectly with the brown and burgundy shades that will now become your Autumn wardrobe staples.

Deep red lips

While bright red lips were the look of the summer, Autumn is all about deep reds. We’re talking plums, wine hues and maroons. Not for the faint of heart, rock this trend with lots of bronzer (to avoid that vampire vibe), brown mascara and no eye shadow. Beautiful!

Feathered eyebrows

Eyebrows have been a thing ever since Cara hit the scene, and it seems they’re not going anywhere. With that being said, this Autumn it’s all about feathered eyebrows. Not actual feathers. That would look weird. Basically, the focus is on lightly defined eyebrows, drawn on in a feathery way. Got it?!
