When The Strand Arcade opens a brand new boutique, it only means one thing—our credit card is in some serious danger—especially when it’s Camilla and Marc. The Grounds Of The City
The Grounds has moved into the CBD, so now you don’t have to trek it all the way to Alexandria for their delicious pastries, perfect coffee, and fresh brekkies. Just so we're clear—Kevin Bacon will not be coming, so you’ll still have to head to the O.G. café to pat that big guy.
The Fernery
Yep, it’s another rooftop bar and guess what? We’re not even mad about it. Especially because this isn’t just any type of sky-high goodness, it’s a rosé one. Which is undeniably our favourite kind. In case you’re wondering, it’s from the same legendary team that gave us The Greens and acre Eatery and is everything it’s hyped up to be (and more).

Zebra Bar
A cheeky little hidden bar has just opened inside the recently renovated Queens Hotel and it’s the only place you’ll want to snuggle up this winter. This small-bar only seats 40, and is designed with large group bookings in mind, but we still think you should try your luck here tonight.
Peanut Butter Bar
Stop everything. No, really, this is important guys. Sydney is now the very proud owner of a Peanut Butter Bar. Madame Shanghai
The Lotus Dining team has given us many food comas at every single one of their Sydney eateries and Madame Shanghai isn’t any different. Menu items are served Chinese barbeque style, honouring the traditional street-food of Shanghai—with a modern emphasis. Mr. G’s
What happens when a couple of Irish folks open an American bar and grill? Steak and beer, of course. And by any means, this certainly isn’t your average steakhouse—enjoy your sirloin, rump or scotch, straight out of a wood-fired, charcoal driven oven. The only electricity here is the one you’ll feel when you pair your smoky steak, with an American craft beer or whisky (there’s 100 to choose from FYI).

Gojima
Burger innovation (it’s totally a thing) has been taken to the next level at Gojima and we’d like to introduce you to their baby—sushi burgers. They’ve ditched the regular burger bun, and instead, there are two layers of crispy rice, which actually look a lot like hash browns if we’re honest (which we always are, obvs). Between the rice are classic burger fillings, like the sushi cheeseburger, which stars Angus beef patties with cheese, tomato, onions, lettuce, special sauce and pickles.
