It’s an unfortunate truth that the Easter long weekend on the Gold Coast is going to look a little different this year.
With the COVID-19 pandemic in full swing and self-isolation all the rage right now, we’re looking for any way to make this weekend a little different to the rest.
Lucky for us, there are a few Gold Coast businesses who understand the need to make these upcoming four days off a little bit special, and so they’re doing what they do best—cooking up incredible food.
Available for takeaway and delivery, these are the Gold Coast restaurants and cafes to call on for your ultimate Easter feast at home.
Burleigh Heads restaurant, Labart, are doing you a solid this Easter long weekend on the Gold Coast, cooking up mouth-watering feeds for you to devour, and there won’t be a supermarket run in sight. Set the dining table, and eat your way through classic fish pie with potato, peas, spinach and cheddar on Good Friday and an Easter Sunday lunch of marinated lamb shoulder with roast vegetables and buttered greens. Each dish is partially cooked by Labart’s chefs, then you just need to follow the instructions included and voila. Delivery area includes Burleigh Heads, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Palm Beach and Currumbin. Further than that? You’ll be able to drop in and pick up your weekend meals. Find out more here.
After a two-week hiatus due to the whirlwind of COVID-19, Paddock Bakery is re-opening its doors for takeaway or drive-thru this Easter long weekend. So, you’ll be able to grab everything you need for a lavish, sugar-loaded breakfast at home, from 7am to 12pm every day from this Wednesday. Pre-order hot cross buns, twice-baked almond croissants and a straight-out-of-the-over semi-sourdough, best served with a thick layer of butter. Find our more here.
Honour Espresso & Salumi Bar
