The Royal Wedding Is Being Screened Live In Cinemas & We’re Already Frothing

1st May 2018

After months of speculation, ‘Are they? Aren’t they?’, after the hotly anticipated engagement announcement (understatement of the century), and after that official photocall on the grounds of Kensington Palace Gardens, the day is finally approaching: HRH Prince Henry (aka Hazza!) of Wales and Hollywood darling Meghan Markle are set to walk down the aisle!

Mark it in your diaries, put the kettle on and roll out the commemorative china, Australia; May 19 is set to see the nation come to a standstill…

Now, don’t kid yourself: even if you aren’t a die-hard royalist or even keen on the celebrity gossip columns (yeah, us neither…), chances are you’ll be tuning in to catch a glimpse of the royal nuptials—or at the very least Ms. Markle’s dress/the first kiss on the balcony/the tear in Lizzie's eye/Wills and Kate stealing the limelight with their cute-to-boot brood—pick one. Pick any. Because Christ knows we will be.

And you know who else will? Only the entire freaking world! So, why stay at home and watch it in your jammies when you can throw on your glad rags, sip on a glass of champers and make a right royal ruddy night of it.

Because if there’s anything more extra than a royal wedding, it’s watching said royal wedding on a bloody HUGE screen and getting absolutely trollied. How very British of you...
