If the world has gotten you a little down of late, what you need is a good old cheering up: a spot of eye candy to rev the engines and get your love for life back on track. In fabulous news Cirque du Soleil is back in Brisbane with yet another magical performance—and this time, they've gone XXL! If you have not yet experienced the pinnacle of all acrobatic shows tht is Cirque first hand, you're not doing life right.
Cirque du Soleil Toruk: The First Flight is their latest show inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar. Set thousands of years before the story of Avatar took place, Toruk follows the story of the Na’vi through their first ever rider of Toruk (that massive red pterodactyl thing that Jake Sully flies on at the end of the movie). Cirque du Soleil Toruk will immerse you in the planet of Pandora with their stunning visual effects, mind-blowing skills and eye-popping set design, as well as their impressive puppetry and cinematic score.
The by far most impressive part of Cirque du Soleil is always the acrobatics: with the performers pulling off impossible stunts that will give you a mini heart attack just about every time. Toruk is the artistic fusion of two art forms creating something visually intense and beautiful, and you do not want to miss out on this one!
