Salt Coffee Roasters Is Opening Next Week And Giving Away Free Coffee

By Jessica Pridmore - 08 Feb 2019

It’s the news we’ve been waiting for; Salt Coffee Roasters in Newstead is finally opening its doors.

After announcing their big news mid last year, all eyes have been firmly fixed on the sought-after Commercial Road location, where owner Zac Lazerac and his team at Salt team have been busily renovating the corner block to house their new roastery.

Home an in-house roastery and adjacent elegant espresso bar, it’s not just Salt’s impeccable beans we’re into. The interior really is something to behold and is testament to the vision laid out from the beginning by Lazerac. Emerald green, pinks and bronze accents pop against polished concrete, with an impressive oxidised bronze and leather San Remo coffee machine taking pride of place at the café’s entrance. No detail has been left untouched.

While it is certainly not the only bustling café in and around the Newstead locale, Salt Coffee Roasters is going above and beyond to help reignite the Brisbane coffee scene, showing that QLD really does produce some of the best micro-roastery coffee in Australia.

So, to celebrate the new digs, come down next Tuesday February 12 for a coffee on the house. Think of it as their housewarming gift to you.
