Sometimes, just sometimes, it feels like the Gold Coast misses out on some really rad music festivals. But we have excellent news for you because festival king Mark James (the legend behind Summerfield Dayze and Future Music) is putting us back on the map with the announcement of Circus Paradise.
The boutique music event will take place March 10 at the Broadwater Parklands and is expected to draw a crowd of up to 5,000 people. Looking at the excellent line up of local and international acts set to perform, we can understand why.
The first round of artists announced include Belgian techno DJ Charlotte de Witte, veteran German techno producer Oliver Huntemann, Aussies Dom Dolla and the Bag Raiders as well as Motez, Leftfield and Sydney disco band Total Giovanni.
They’ll be performing across four purpose-built stages with the festival aiming to create a wonderland theme. Note: costumes and whacky headwear is expected.
First release tickets are already sold out so head here to get yours.
If you're feeling flush, you can upgrade to a VIP ticket and experience Circus Paradise in total style. Your ticket will score you your own DJs and chill out area, main stage viewing platform, free BBQ and VIP toilets* (*any festival goer will know this is vital).
We’re told this is going to become an annual event, and we couldn’t be happier. 2019 is off to an excellent start.
