Forget chocolate advent calendars, we’ve got a much better way to countdown to the big day and it involves whisky—25 different types to be precise.

And, who would be throwing such a boozy celebration? The good folk at The Scottish Prince of course. The popular Palm Beach watering hole is home to over 300 whiskies and to celebrate the silly season they’ll be pulling together their top 25 recommended drops.

Each day they’ll be pouring their whisky of choice and sharing a whole lot of knowledge about the tipple. There will be the same good vibes as always and drink specials to get you in the festive mood. Tomorrow kicks off the countdown with Auchentoshan ‘Three Wood’, one of the few triple distilled whiskys available from Scotland.

Other brews in the line-up include an 18-year-old Bowmore, a 21-year-old Glenfiddich and Gordon and Macphail’s Ledaig Hermitage 2005 which has hints of red wine, dark chocolate and campfire smoke. Need we say more?

And if that gets you going, why not try one of their ‘Intro to Whisky’ sessions held every month. For $79 you get to taste your way through the history of whisky and its main regions. It includes six whiskies, snacks and a take home glass. Christmas present idea anyone?
