Guys, it’s September already. We don’t know how this happened, and we swore this year we wouldn’t be one of those people who comment on how fast the year has gone. But, how fast has the year gone?! Sorry, we had to.
We aren’t complaining here at The Urban List, though, because we (along with our waistlines) know that September is home to some of the most delicious events going. Brisbane, cancel the diet—we’re giving you fair warning. Treasury Brisbane are hosting five events that are going to leave you looking like an IRL drool emoji. Which we’re okay with, actually.
If you’re ready to feast, add these to your diary for September.
#1 Spring Time Drinks
Pimms + Spring = yes, thank you very much. Treasury Brisbane will be celebrating the magic of Brisbane during spring with a Pimms courtyard. There will, of course, be DJs, seasonal cocktails, pop-up bars, giveaways (think: a Porsche for a weekend). Gather your work crew and thank us later when you have the best after work drinks of your life. Get all of the info here.
#2 Brewed & Batched Father’s Day
Father’s Day plans are always hard, but this year they’re easy as anything. Treasury Brisbane’s Brewed & Batched Father’s Day eve event is all about good whiskey, delicious beers, and crazy-good slow-cooked BBQ meats. The event is hosted by Bill McDonald and pairs whiskeys and James Squire beers with a four-course feast. And yes, there will be man cave activities and a chance to win something signed by Jonathon Thurston—so dad will love it.

#3 Art Of The Palate
Victorian vineyard, Yering Station, will be setting up shop at Treasury Brisbane on September 25 for an evening of next-level dining and matched wines. The wines will be matched with art Theresa Rule. We’re talking a four-course modern Australian feast, people! The event continues to sell out, so get in there quick, guys.

#5 Treasury Brisbane Arcadia
September means two things in Brisbane: the jacarandas are out and Brisbane Festival is on. Treasury Brisbane puts on Arcadia each year, which is a pop-up space full of magic. Think, all pink everything, pop-up bars and foodie delights, as well as the best darn view of Brisbane you’ll ever see. Our city looks pretty magic lit up in pink, right?! Did you even do September in Brisbane if you didn’t get an Insta with the magical pink backdrop of Treasury Brisbane Arcadia?!
#6 Cocktails & Canapes
Spring has well and truly sprung and the only way to celebrate is with a spring-themed cocktail party, obviously. Fire up the group chat and head to Treasury Brisbane’s onsite hub of deliciousness, The Lab, for mouth-watering nibbles and classy cocktails. Hey, we’re classy people; we see champagne cocktails and we click attending. The event is currently sold out, which is all the more reason to add Treasury's events to your plans.
You can also expect live DJ entertainment and a whopping three hours of cocktails and canapes with your ticket.
