Ok let's be real here, what could possibly be better than a food truck? It's a restaurant that comes to you! If it involves food, and it's mobile, we're so there! And with the food truck scene becoming more and more popular, it's no surprise that so many have popped up recently.

But if you're new to the food truck craze, here's the low down of where it's at when it comes to Brisbane's best new food trucks.

Oi Taco

Bringing the fresh taste of Mexico to Brisbane's mobile food scene is the Oi Taco food truck. Plating up a variety of fresh authentic quesadillas or tacos, huevos ranchos and chorizo scrambled, topped off with Jamaican iced tea. Oi Taco can currently be found at Betty's Espresso every Saturday morning, and across from Gasworks on Thursday's. To make sure you don't miss out, check out their Facebook page for all their locations.

King of the Wings

A newbie to Brisbane's mobile food family, King of the Wings are bringing the wings to you, with an impressive selection of  wings to try. Dylan and Katrina Pires are the culinary geniuses behind Brisbane's first ever wing-mobile, serving up 5 deliciously flavoured wings: signature southern spice, sweet bee sting, crunchy Portuguese crumb, American BBQ, and chillogy. Hungry yet? You can catch these two (and the wing mobile) in various locations around Brisbane (check out their Facebook and Instagram for all the latest info) and at Grean Beacon every Wednesday night for 'Wing it Wednesdays'.

Juan More Taco

A vintage red bus, a pun for a name, and some seriously good nosh. How could you say no to this food truck? Juan More Taco serves traditional tacos: warm, soft, corn tortillas with tasty fillings including slow cooked crispy pork, braised pork, braised beef and chipotle, as well as a vegetarian option. You can find Juan More Taco every Friday at Bob Jane T-Mart on Cavendish Road from 5pm, but keep an eye on their Facebook for any last minute location changes.

Fire and Dough Pizza

Fire and Dough Pizza is a quality mobile wood fire pizza catering business, delivering pizzas to northern NSW, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and beyond. Italian inspired thin crust pizzas, authentic Italian toppings, cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven (yum, yum and er, yum!). What more could you ask for on a cold wintery evening This food truck is popping up at locations all over Brisbane, but make sure you check their Facebook page to keep up with this Brisbane food trucks movements.

The Pasta Cruiser

Finally, Brisbanites are able to enjoy bowls of fresh home made pasta on the run, thanks to The Pasta Cruiser. One of the newest food trucks to hit the streets of Brisbane, The Pasta Cruiser gives you the option to choose your pasta (they have pretty much every kind you could want), and top with your favourite home-made sauce, including roast pumpkin, sun-dried tomato and feta, chorizo and chilli, and pulled pork Bolognese, just to name a few. The Pasta Cruiser can often be found at Carzoos in Woolloongaba, but expect to see them popping up all over the place very soon. Make sure you Like them on Facebook!

That BBQ Joint

Bringing smokin' hot ribs and finger lickin' American street food to Brisbane's streets, That BBQ Joint is Brisbane's first all-American food truck. Featured on the menu are pork or lamb ribs (delish!), pulled pork, Buffalo wings or beef brisket, and onion rings. You can check them out every Thursday at the CDOP mini markets in Milton, and various other locations around Brisbane. Keep track of this food truck here!

Vira Lata

Brazillian food is big right now, so it's no surprise a new Brisbane food truck selling delish' Brazilian and Portuguese food has pulled into town. Vira Lata specialises in authentic Brazilian and Portuguese street food, with many family recipes on the menu. Like their Facebook page to find out where they'll be popping up next!

Local Mobile Deli

Launching at The End Bar in West End last night, Local Mobile Deli is the newest edition to the Brisbane food truck scene, and it's a goodie. Serving up delicious sandwiches such as the 'Rick Ruben', which involves pastrami with sauerkraut and cheese (we die), and the 'Carolina', with chopped pork, apple, and cabbage slaw, you need to try this truck. Check out their Facebook page for all their upcoming locations.
