The Good Food & Wine Show is essentially the culmination of what happens when you give Australia’s foodie community the best produce and the stage to showcase their most delicious creations, really. Picture the best food and wine in Australia all in one room ripe for your eating pleasure and walking out in a food coma, and you're on the right track.

If smelly cheese and just eating a bunch of delicious food with expertly matched wine is your kind of thing, then the Good Food & Wine Show has your name written all over it.

Look, you could go in unprepared, shut your eyes, spin in a circle, and have an amazing time at whatever stall you land on, but, the best magic happens when you get more strategic about things and secure tickets to this year’s best events—hence, this guide.

Now, let’s get planning!

See Celeb Chefs IRL

We’ve all spent hours binge-watching our fave cooking shows, but at this year’s Good Food And Wine Show they’ll be teaming up with their besties to cook some next level dishes—live, mind you—made with total love. This year you can catch Matt Moran teaming up with Maggie Beer, Miguel Meastre and his brother will take the stage, and Darren Robertson and Magdalena Roze will be there. Check out the full list of chefs and guests here.

Try The Best Meat Balls In Brisbane

As with all shows, the Citi pop-up dining precinct will well and truly deliver with epic eats. This year, though, we’ve got our taste buds set on the polpette from Italian Street Kitchen. That's beef meatballs with Napoli sauce and grated Parmigiano Reggiano, FYI. Yes please!

Enjoy Next-Level Wine Pairings

Big news guys, big news: you can pair quality Australian wine with pretty much any type of meat. Grab tickets to this Meat Your Match masterclass to chow down on delish meat and Australian wine pairings. Plus, there’s also a whole heap of classes on wine pairing if meat isn’t your vibe, including Pop, Bubble & Fizz, Takeout Tastings, and Cold Blooded Reds

Make Your Best Cocktail Yet

Spiegelau is throwing a cocktail masterclasses to show you the ropes. The classes will be led by Mitch “Rummy” Keane from West Winds Gin and you’ll learn the secrets behind two seriously moreish cocktails. You’ll never need to sip goon punch again, people.

… Or A Take A Cheese Appreciation Class

For real! The Smelly Cheese Shop’s resident experts will take you on a cheese appreciation journey that’s completely sensory, and completely delicious!

Eat All Of The Food

Obviously, while you’re at the show, you’re going to want to do just that. Eat a sh*t tonne of amazing food. Have a wander and be sure to stop and check out the Kokopod, Oregano Bakery, Saucy Wench Sauces, and Wyld Smoke BBQ. Seriously, yum!
