Only a few short months ago, (WTF, it’s December already?!) we almost #broketheinternet by bringing you news of the very exciting Food Van Jam, food truck bash.
Well, you mad food truck chasers, great news: Food Van Jam is back, and this time, it’s Christmas-ified!
Part of Westfield Chermside’s Carols in Colour event—think Christmas carols with a colour fight twist—Food Van Jam take two is bringing the yum back, one four-wheeled restaurant at a time!
The FVJ 2.0 will be held on Saturday, 13th December Westfield Chermside’s Nando’s carpark (off Gympie Road) from 4pm to 8pm.
They’ve pulled out all the stops so some of Brisbane’s best mobile food vans can pull on the park brake, to help you in the all-important mission of getting your yuletide glutton on.
All our faves will be there including Chocolate Komberry Co., King of the Wings, Local Mobile Deli, Mark Daniel’s Patisserie, Pizzantica, That BBQ Joint, The Kai Kart, Thumbs Up Hotdogs, and Fire’N’Dough.
Once you’ve wiped the crumbs from your face and the rib-daze has cleared then there’s still plenty of fun to be had at the Carols in Colour, where you’ll be able to throw coloured holi powder on your loved ones to the tune of classic Christmas tunes!
Sounds just like the festive season at the in-laws, right?
If Brisbane’s food trucks are your ultimate jam, we suggest you be here.
It all kicks off from 4pm to 8pm and Carols in Colour is open for registration (book in to secure yourself a pack of holi powder) now, right here!
