Beauty Products You Should Steal From Your Boyfriend

How many times have you been faced with your boyfriend’s beauty products, desperately wishing you’d remembered to pack your face cream/hair spray/special brand of toothpaste? Boyfriends are good for many things… but beauty products?! Erm, not usually.

Here at The Urban List however, we’re all for trying something new, and in that spirit (and that of not having to haul all your beauty products to and from your BF’s house), here are a few handy products you should probably start borrowing from your boyfriend (just don’t let him find out, okay?).

2 in 1 shower gel and shampoo

Okay, so obviously this can’t be used forever (think of the state your hair would be without your $50 shampoo!), but as a time saver, it really is genius. Now, why haven’t they come up with a super expensive one for us gals that ensures glossy locks and deals with frizzy hair whilst moisturising our skin too?! Try Philosophy’s Vanilla Birthday Cake shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath. It’s the shiz.

So, obviously you have your own, but who wants to be the weirdo carrying a razor in their handbag?! Not us, that’s who. Avoid being that guy and borrow your boyfs. Boys razors always look pretty lethal, and they actually do a proper job on the legs and arm pits too. Definitely don’t tell him about this one though.

Shaving cream

And while we’re at it, use his shaving cream. It’s formulated for a close shave which means your legs will be smooth as! We love Aesop's Neroli Shaving Duet (it smells amazing too).

Hair wax

No, not for styling your hair, silly. In the absence of your eyebrow gel, why not try using his hair stuff on them instead? Alternatively, rub a little (really, a little), between your hands and run through just the ends of your hair to tame flyaways or control split ends. Uppercut Deluxe is one of our faves.

Well, it will work just as well as yours, and you’ll smell like your dreamy boyf all day. Enough said. Kiehls' Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant is good enough to use as your own.
