Café culture in Sydney is booming, with new establishments continually setting up shop in every pocket of town. In case you've missed it, here's a list of cafes you might not know about…but should!

COOH Cafe & Roaster
North Curl Curl

Situated between North Curl Curl and Dee Why, Cooh offers house-roasted coffee, as well as organic, vegetarian and gluten-free fare. The breakfast menu is served all day, with specialties including its delicious Mexican baked eggs, and hearty buckwheat and zucchini fritters.

Nook Urban Fresh Bar
CBD

Serving up specialty coffee from the likes of Sensory Lab, Proud Mary and Mecca Espresso, this little nook in the CBD is sure to curb your caffeine cravings. You'll also find fresh salads, supersized sandwiches, and a juice bar to satisfy the health junkies.

Nelson Road Tuckshop
Bondi Junction

Nelson Road Tuckshop is bringing 'made from scratch' back to the centerfold, with its selection of homemade breads, crumpets, pastries, and inventive juice blends. The breakfast menu is both healthy and delicious with options such as quinoa bircher and curried eggs on pumpernickel.

Ko and Co
Surry Hills

Who would have thought the fusion of Korean BBQ and Mexican street food would be such a hit? It seems Ko and Co has found a recipe for success, with offerings such as delectable kimchi-filled quaesadillas, pork belly tacos and yuzu margaritas.

Runcible Spoon
Camperdown

Housed beneath the old Weston biscuit factory in Camperdown, Runcible Spoon is satisfying hungry patrons with specialty dishes such as Thai-style fried eggs and breakfast hummus gracing its breakfast menu.

Egg Of The Universe
Rozelle

Whilst Rozelle has been a quiet achiever on Sydney's café scene, Egg of the Universe (a yoga studio/café) is a favourite amongst the locals. There's film nights, cooking classes and a wholesome menu that changes with the seasons.

Pilu Kiosk At Freshwater
Harbord

Suckling pig paninis, Nutella pastries and sweeping ocean views—breakfast just got a whole lot better! This local eatery is definitely worth knowing about.

Street Bean Espresso
Mosman

This Mosman hole-in-the-wall café has garnered a cult following for its morning waffles—crispy creations topped with sliced banana and strawberry and a drizzle of melted chocolate. Need we say more?
