If you’ve ever visited the grounds of Sydney’s National Art School, you’ll be familiar with its everlasting leafy canopy, sandstone pumped walls and cobblestone pathways. And let’s be honest, this oozes an ace outdoor party location, especially during the warmer months.
The debut for Summer Dance 2019 sold out (as expected) and the party instalments that follow are likely to follow its path. It’s the fifth year this day-to-night party has hit and we can confirm there’s a solid line-up in the pipeline:
Sunday 20 January
This weekend's session is set to be headlined by CC:DISCO which means disco, house and a dancefloor packed to the rafters is on the cards. Hailing from Chicago’s South Side Beverly area, Jamie 3:26 will also grace the NAS stage with soul, funk and house. For the full line-up and tickets head here.
Sunday 10 February
Hitting up the sun-filled grounds for another edition of Summer Dance is multi-instrumentalist and producer Floating Points plus local legend Adi Toohey (this girl has recently found herself in some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Dark Mofo, Strawberry Fields, Subsonic and Splendour in the Grass). Rounding out the roster is some more hometown love in Andy & Oscar, the duo will pull together mixes from their eclectic collection of weird and wonderful grooves. Grab your tickets here.
You can also cool yourself off with Sydney’s new bubble milk tea sundaes.
