The Pho-Nomenal Pop Up You Need To Try

Guys, you need to wrap your laughing gear around the delicious eats currently being dished up by the man, the legend, Luke Nguyen, at his Street Food Pop Up, STAT!

On for only one more month, the award-winning chef (of Red Lantern and Fat Noodle fame) is dishing up delectable Southeast Asian delights (with a cheeky twist) at The Star’s Café Court.

If you’ve haven’t yet seen Nguyen’s SBS TV series, ‘Luke Nguyen’s Street Food Asia’ (8:30pm Thursdays), you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Think oyster omelettes, smashed fried chicken, lobster Tom Yum (feat. mussels) and more.

The mouth-watering menu is inspired by the dreamy destinations visited in the series, including Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Saigon, so come here with an empty belly and take your tastebuds on a worldly ride.

Speaking of rides, the Vietnamese Pho-Guette is one tasty experience you don’t want to miss. We’re talking succulent Wagyu beef brisket and braised shank, bathed in pho broth, served on a classic, oh-so crispy white baguette and yes, street food dreams really do come true. Save space for the signature shakes (dessert anyone?) because the Avocado and Chocolate Shake is all sorts of delicious.
