Australia has been pretty spoilt so far this year in the Marvel stakes and guys, you’re about to become even more jealous of Brisbane than you (no doubt) already are. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
They’ve had superhero battles in the streets of the CBD, and celebrity sightings galore these past few months in (Hemsworth, Hiddleston, Hopkins; we love you!). All of their Thoogling—that’s Thor oogling—has paid off, becuase Australia will soon be the host to the world's first Marvel exhibition—the largest of its kind ever showcased in a museum! Now there’s a headline you don’t see every day…
It's all going to go down in Brisbane, with more than 300 items on show at QAGOMA for ‘The Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe’; from Iron Man’s classic armour, Captain America’s shield, to Thor’s iconic hammer and will display a mix of film props, original artwork and costumes.
The exhibition will run from 27 May to 3 September next year at QAGOMA! Click here for full details.
There are some pretty great exhibitions happening around Australia this year, like this one.
