Delicious New York-style brunch, psychedelic beats and the tastiest paella in town, we bring you another epic weekend in Sydney.



FRIDAY 14TH
Yo Grito! At Goodgod Small Club

End your week with a mix of garage, punk and psychedelic rock at Goodgod Front Bar's weekly Friday extravaganza. Featuring a stellar cast including King Opp, Silky Doyle, Flashback and Gonz! 9pm.

SATURDAY 15TH
Africultures Festival

The Africultures Festival is set to transform Auburn Park with the flavours and rhythms of Africa. You can expect a wide range of music, dance workshops and food stalls, with performances from hip-hop legend Kween G, Lucky African Dance and Drum, Afrochild and Frieda's Boss. 11am-5:30pm.

SATURDAY 15TH
Quadrangle Roof Top Market

Quadrangle Roof Top Market returns with a curated selection of local businesses, spanning food, fashion and design. For this very special edition, the market will feature the Gallery 2010 exhibition The Future Primitive by Dion Horstmans and Sam Mitchell-Fin, as part of Art Month. 12-4pm; 69 Reservoir Street, Surry Hills.

SATURDAY 15TH
Courtyard Fiesta at The Beresford Hotel

Get to The Beresford Hotel for an afternoon of tapas, paella, wine and sangria, set to the sounds of a flamenco guitar. The Spanish food fiesta pays homage to head chef Reid's Spanish heritage. Tickets available here

SUNDAY 16th
New York Sunday Brunch

The perfect recovery food, Cornerstone is now offering New York-styled Sunday brunch, each week at Carriageworks. The menu is a fusion of New York classics, including: brioche French toast with caramelised bananas; corned beef has with poached eggs; and Southern-fried chicken, coleslaw and chipotle mayo. For those who prefer hair-of-the-dog nostrums, you can't go past the mimosa or espresso martini.
