Green thumbs, pop this in your diary. There’s a huge indoor plant market taking over West Village this weekend.
It’s called The Plant Market (give it time, it’ll grow on you) and it’s popping up on Sunday 16 June (AKA this Sunday).
The Plant Market is a little bit different than the Jungle Collective plant warehouse sales. It’s sort of a mix between plant market and makers market: you’ll find the obvious stuff (indoor plants, boutique pots and planters etc) but also boutique jewellery, terrariums, kokodamas, macramé workshops, blingin’ botanical earrings, handmade Billeta ceramics and cactus cookies.
If you’re more the serial-plant-killer than the green-thumb, that’s cool. The Plant Market is also hosting a Plant Adoption Centre, where you can drop off your struggling (and slightly judgemental) monstera, and let someone more nurturing take it home.
Need more? The guys are also running some ticketed plant-themed workshops. Master the art of pot plants, learn succulent care 101, or make your own plant earrings. You’ll have to book ahead for these ones. All the info is over here.
Where: West Village, 97 Boundary St, West End
When: Sunday 16 June, 10am – 3pm
How much: Free!
