Everyone’s favourite annual dog walk is back to help fight cruelty to animals for its 21st year—wowsers—but this year there’s a new challenge!
The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is happening on Sunday 21 May at Lions Park in Noosaville (with over 20 other regional walks across QLD for those of you not on the Sunshine Coast), but it’s not all about the big walk this time around.
This year, The Million Paws Challenge is encouraging all the pooch lovers out there to walk one million paws in the month before the event to help raise money for the RSPCA—so if you haven’t started yet you’d better get going!
On the day of the event, you’ll walk the 2.5km course with your furry four-legged friend before indulging in food stalls, coffee (mmm… coffeeee), cookies, before you take your doggo home for a well-deserved rest!
Register here, and then get your steps up by walking to all of our fave dog-friendly cafes on the Sunshine Coast.
When: Sunday, May 21 from 8.30am to 2pm (walk starts between 9.30am and 10am)
Where: Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville
