Hotel Terminus

One of the oldest pubs in Sydney has reopened for the first time in 30 years and honestly, it’s never looked better. The Terminus Hotel is serving up a twenty first century menu with an Aussie wine list to match and those happen to be a few of our favourite things.

Restaurants

Burger Project Black Label

The team behind Burger Project and Rockpool Bar & Grill, led by Neil Perry of course, are hitting Sydney with another place we can spend every waking hour eating nothing but the best burgers in town. Burger Project Black Label is turning up the luxe factor on its forerunner, adding even more premium ingredients, table service and a stronger bar-focused situation to boot.

The Soda Factory

If you haven’t been to The Soda Factory in Surry Hills, do you even Sydney? An institution for anyone over the age of 18, this hidden speakeasy can be found behind a ‘50s Coca-Cola door on Wentworth Avenue.

Restaurants

Harris Miller

Aptly named, Harris Miller sits on the corner of Harris and Miller Streets in Pyrmont. We all know that anything short of an absolute feast is a waste of time which is why we ordered the vegan bowl which is stuffed with all of our favourite things, AKA smashed avo, falafel, hummus, zaatar spiced roasted tomatoes and quinoa. And because we're hungry humans, we also added toast (and we're not sorry about it).

Cafes

Bondi Hall

In a low-key move, the guys from Paramount Coffee Project and Reuben Hills have landed in the heart of Hall St in Bondi Beach and opened Bondi Hall, an all-day dining and wine bar brewing Seven Seeds beans and cooking up a concise, yet delicious food menu. For your brekkie fix think overnight oats and almond croissants paired with a, dare we say turmeric latte? If you’re vibin’ dinner instead go for the burrata with stone fruit, pickled seafood, and wagyu bresaola (cue stomach growls). Wash it down with craft beers and low intervention wine while you people watch and catch up with pals.

Restaurants

Fire & Brimstone

The Hills District has just scored itself a new spot serving up American-style BBQ and FYI there’s a pretty impressive selection of whiskeys to match. In case you need more convincing, they’re dishing out 12-hour slow-cooked brisket as far as the eye can see.

Fusion both inside and outside of the kitchen, English Ben Sinfield and Vietnamese Tania Ho fell in love after meeting at work in London’s St John restaurant.
