Melbourne’s famous Boho Luxe Market is hitting the road once again—they’re heading back to Brisbane for a pop-up Christmas market and our inner flower child is doing cartwheels.
If you haven’t heard of these guys, they’re a pretty big deal in Victoria, regularly selling out huge boho-themed weekends at Federation Square and the Melbourne Exhibition Building. For only the second time, they're back taking over The Old Museum in Bowen Hills, this time with a festive market just in time for Christmas shopping.
The general vibe is Byron Bay meets Splendour: lots of flower crowns, dream catchers, crystals, throw pillows, kombi vans and festival jewellery. The Boho Luxe team have assembled every significant boho brand in Australia—from tiny boutiques and stalls to some of the major players. Expect names like Boho Sisters, The Glitter Tribe, Eastern Eclectica, Sunsarra and Birds of a Feather.
As usual, along with fashion, crafts and boho gift ideas, there’ll be plenty of food trucks on-site, including vegan food stalls and a vintage mobile bar.
If you want to get crafty, there will also be free workshops running throughout over the weekend, including flower crown creating with Fleetwood Fringe.
Boho brides, they haven’t forgotten you either. There’s going to be a separate Boho Bride market running alongside Boho Luxe, where you can plan your barefoot, tipi-filled wedding to your heart's content.
