Carl’s Jr Will Open Their First Melbourne CBD Store This Week

It was just over 12 months ago that Carl's Jr announced they would open 30 stores across Victoria following their first store in 2018.

And now, the city is getting its first glimpse of the massive American burger chain, in The District Docklands.

Carl's Jr has close to 1,500 stores globally, with the Docklands store becoming their 15th store nationally in Australia after stores across Queensland and South Australia opened in 2018. Victorian stores include one at Westfield Knox, Cranbourne, and another upcoming store to open in Ballarat. They're not mucking around.

Items you can expect on the menu include their famous Angus beef ‘Thickburgers’, and their hand-scooped ice cream shakes. As if we needed another notch in our belt.

The District Docklands Carl's Jr will open on Thursday 14 February at 9am (be there at 8am for the ribbon cutting), so if you're looking for a last-minute Valentines' Day date location.....probably look elsewhere.

As part of the launch, they'll be giving away free burgers for a year to the first fifty customers that walk through the doors at Carl's Jr District Docklands. Might be worth telling work you'll be running late on Thursday.
