Brigade Dining has reopened with a brand spankin’ new winter menu that’s sure to warm even the coldest of hearts. Chef Marco Adler has brought together bold flavours to produce a menu that promises to get those little tastebuds excited. With options like squid ink crackers, slow cooked Mary Hill lamb shoulder and sorrell panna cotta, what could go wrong? This is all about celebrating Aussie produce and we’re all for it.
Darlo Country Club
The Darlo is bringing the quintessential LA Country Club to Darlinghurst. The new menu, inspired by all things Los Angeles, is the final piece of the puzzle for the DCC in becoming Sydney's hottest new spot. And yes, we know Darlinghurst isn’t quite the country, but it’s bringing all the vibes with the newly fitted out interior. Pop in for a steak tartare or vodka rigatoni and pair it with some faves from the cocktail menu featuring the Hollywood sour and Bay Area iced tea.
Bill Granger and Bondi—what could be more Australian? bills at Bondi have just updated their menu and we’re kind of in love. With everything from calamari to sea bass carpaccio, Korean fried chicken to pavlova, this menu combines the best of Granger’s food empire all on the iconic Bondi beachfront. Even though it’s too cold to go for a dip, bills at Bondi is still a great place to brunch, lunch and dinner.
Need to pick up some new winter clothes? If you happen to be around Chatswood Westfield this weekend head down to the Flower Child Cafe for some of the best French toast you’ll ever have. Seriously. Served with banana mascarpone, sliced banana, dark chocolate crumb, fresh berries and salted toffee, we’re just a liiiiittle bit obsessed. If
French toast isn’t your thing (who are you?!), the rest of the menu is sure to excite, from eggs to burgers to granola, it’s all on offer.
Salt Meats Cheese
Cheese and pasta—it’s a classic combo that’s hard to beat. You’ve seen those videos of pasta being served straight out of a cheese wheel, right? Well Salt Meats Cheese have answered our prayers and are bringing this deliciousness to our bellies. That’s right guys, every Wednesday night from now until forever (we hope) SMC will be serving up fresh pasta right out of a giant, flaming wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano. Make a date for Flaming Cheese Wheel Night. Go on, you know you want to.
If you need a little incentive to get out of bed, check this one out... To celebrate the start of winter, Sydney favourite Catalina are running a special offer for the colder months. You can enjoy a main course, a side and a glass of bubbles for just $49! That's almost less than ordering in these days (and waaaaay more picturesque). Each week they’re also going to showcase a dish from their a la carte menu, starting with the pan-roasted lamb rack. Yum!
