For two glorious months, Burgers By Josh is calling Hotel William home. After a successful takeover of the Annandale Hotel, where up to 1,000 burgers were being flipped in one sitting and queues of burger loving fans patiently awaited their towers of meat, cheese (and anything else that fits between two buns), it’s safe to say the new Darlinghurst residency has been highly anticipated by many a burger enthusiast.

After nine months of short and sharp kitchen take overs and burger pop ups, Burgers By Josh are finally making themselves comfortable in the kitchen of Hotel William, with talks of the takeover extending out to become a permanent home to the kings of the much loved American style burgers.

The takeover will include menu faves like the Primo (a double beef, double cheese and bacon burger) as well as the original New Yorker (wagyu patty, Swiss cheese, pastrami, pickle and Russian dressing), and there will even feature some new additions, including a kebab collaboration, to bring to life a halal snack pack burger, kebab meat, chips, cheese and tabouli in a bun. We just died and went to burger heaven.

The bar will also serve craft beer on tap as well as cocktails for the first time and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the alcoholic milkshakes to make an appearance within the two months.
