We can still hardly believe it ourselves. The creators of the gargantuan, deep-fried Nutella ice cream ball have moved on into the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and have brought with them another ridiculously chocolatey treat for us to loose our brains over.
That’s right, the guys from Piccolo Me, whose minds must flow with rich chocolate and almonds, have created a new hot chocolate to see us through winter! It’s called the Choco Minoto and will warm you up in the most delicious way possible.
This delight of a concoction is made up of decadent, minty hot chocolate, topped with crushed Oreos, embellished with ice cream and finished with a lavish rich chocolate sauce. Cue appropriate levels of drooling.
And that’s where the story would end if it was a tame affair but no, there’s more, so much more. Here you’ll be able to pick up a Cookiegato. You heard us correctly, a Cookiegato, which is an edible Nutella cookie cup with vanilla ice cream dancing on top and an espresso served alongside to wash it all down. And, if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the Brogato—a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream galore, double ristretto, coconut shavings, popping candy and crushed peanut M&M’s. Yep, chocolatey, caffeinated heaven.
And, of course, the aforementioned world’s largest Nutella fried ice cream ball will be very, very present. Complete with one litre of Nutella and vanilla ice cream topped with crushed Maltesers and warm salted caramel, conveniently provided in a sauce syringe, the sun it will shine all the more brightly and bliss will most certainly be yours.
So you don’t miss it, Piccolo Me will be settling into the Royal Botanical Garden Sydney at the Palace Gates entrance, adjacent to Macquarie Street.
