We’ve all been there. Hungover on a Sunday wondering why, oh why is there no delivery service for fried chicken? Who made the rule that pizza was the only food that could be brought to your door anyway? Well, thanks the brains behind the much loved app Uber, they’re resonating with many a hangry punter by launching their newest (and we think most awesome) app, UberEATS.
As if we didn’t love Uber enough—first it was puppies, then kittens and even real life emojis that were being delivered to bring happiness to the lives of Sydneysiders and now, having collaborated with more than 100 local restaurants, they bring us UberEATS—a food delivery service, so you can have that fried chicken brought to you direct, without moving any other muscle except the ones in your thumb.
Partners include fried chicken Kings, Butter, Three Blue Ducks, Sake, Fratelli Fresh and Thievery, among a long list of all your other faves.
After launching UberEATS in the US last year, this new Sydney delivery app will be servicing the inner suburbs from Bondi to Surry Hills and Pyrmont to Newtown and everything in between.
So have no shame, you don’t need to be hungover to admit you can’t fathom the effort to leave your desk for lunch. This is new age dining at its best, all at the touch of a button. For a limited time, UberEATS isn’t charging a delivery fee either, so now’s your chance to take full advantage of the mouth-watering phenomenon (yes we’re putting it out there, this could very well be the miracle we’ve all been waiting for). The flat rate will eventually be $5 for all deliveries—which we think you’d agree, is totally worth it to save you the gruelling trip (parking in Sydney is hard right, guys?).
