Would You Pay $100 For A Hot Dog?

Best Hot Dog Sydney Maille

La Maison Maille (aka the world’s most exclusive mustard company) is on a year-long voyage around Australia with their luxe Haute-Dogs. If you fancy yourself to be a hot dog connoisseur then this will definitely be your jam, or should we say, your mustard.

The main event is the piece de resistance of hot dogs, which is made with gourmet, Australian peppercorn beef on a Brasserie Bread brioche bun, topped with fresh black truffle infused French mustard, which will set you back a cool $100. Along with your Haute-Dog, you’ll also earn yourself a specialty ceramic jar filled with 100mL of Maille’s king of mustards (that’s black truffle infused French mustard, by the way) to take home and smear on everything. Yes, we do mean everything. Normally the jar of bliss would set you back $100 alone, so you are basically getting the hot dog for free, just saying.

This is the world’s most exclusive (and probably most expensive) hot dog, and it’s coming to Sydney very soon, so prepare your stomachs accordingly. If you don’t quite have the budget (same here) you’re in luck as they have two other Haute-Dogs on the menu, which won’t break the bank at $10 and $25 each. We’re having difficulty finding reasons not to go.
