If you’re in the midst of a deep obsession with all things gin and whisky, then wait until you hear about the news that’s just landed in our laps.
Adding yet another destination to our booming local booze industry, is a new Noosa Hinterland distillery, set to open its doors to the public next year.
Aptly named 2020, this distillery will be producing high-end drops that are intrinsically Queensland, with a range including gins, single malt whisky and lip-smacking liqueurs using seasonal fruits from the Sunshine Coast.
Tucked away in a warehouse location in Cooroy, there’ll be plenty of seats to perch on as you taste your way through what’s sure to be an impressive drinks list.
For now though, all the action is happening behind-the-scenes. So in the meantime, we suggest you keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates—we’ve been told there will be limited-edition Founders’ Club subscription soon available to purchase, and you’d be crazy to miss that.
