Living on the Sunshine Coast means we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to markets but that doesn’t mean we don’t get excited when a new one pops up.
Last week it was Nambour, with the breaking news about Mill Street Markets, and now, we’ve heard there’s another night market on the horizon. Cue applause.
Launching in February, the Currimundi Twilight Markets are filling a gap in the lives of all the market-loving crew down the southern end of the Coast. Popping up on the foreshore of Currimundi Lake, this new event will take place on the third Friday of each month and be an intimate affair of 12 unique food stalls, a bar and an entertainment area.
We suggest packing your own picnic blanket for all the eating and lazing you’ll be doing, plus your swimsuit or boardies for a sunset swim in the lake. Now that’s one chilled out way to wrap up the week.
To stay up to date with all the details and the stall holders that’ll be dishing up your market feast, head over to the Currimundi Twilight Markets Facebook page.
