But hey there’ll be plenty of food, drinks, and events for child-adults…oh and actual kids.

PIZZA VS BURGER

Honestly, both are equally mouth-watering in our eyes, but Ombra Salumi Bar and frenemy, Huxtaburger disagree when they butt heads for one messy afternoon. Swapping corners, Huxtaburger’s Daniel Wilson will try his best at pizza-making while Ombra’s Carlo Grossi will try his hand at burgers. Then for our eating pleasure, they’ll return to what they do best and whip up some of Melbourne’s best pizza and burgers (with just a lil debating and voting on the side). And yes just to clarify, that means one whole pizza and burger and beer to stuff yourself with.

DESSERT EVENINGS AT PIERRE ROELOFS

Look, his October dates may have sold out quicker than we anticipated but that doesn’t mean we can’t take certain measures to snag a spot at his next one (AKA stalking his website). If you haven’t been ogling his Insta, Roelofs is an experimental genius drawing inspiration from Switzerland’s alpine peaks and Melbourne’s bustling laneways. Think shards of chocolate and divine pastries in a dessert degustation meal to lull you into food coma heaven.

You'll salivate, but check out more details here.

It's your chance to question the ins and outs of modern life we all seem to be following blindly…we told you, it gets heavy. Appropriately named ‘Antidotes To Dark Times’, Leunig will be discussing all the buzzwords; fake news, love, death, and everything in between. If you’ve read any of Leunig’s work, you know you’re in for a night of satire, darkness, and hope for hope. Leunig’s new book, Ducks for Dark Times, will be hot off the press this November.
