In what might be the most Melbourne event of all time, 3 Ravens are bringing the first dedicated beer and coffee festival to the world’s most liveable city.
On The Bend / On The Mend will bring together 6 local breweries and 6 local coffee roasters who will collaborate to produce some frosty cold beers that use coffee as their key ingredient.
If beer and coffee is not enough for you the day will feature live, coffee and beer workshops, and a raclette cheese bar.
3 Ravens brewery manager, Nathan Liascos is excited for the big day “Fruit, acid and funk are commonly talked about in beer and they’re also a big part of the coffee language. We’re hoping for a wide variety of brews so punters can experience what’s possible when beer and coffee come together.”
So far the line-up of brewers includes Tallboy & Moose, Sailors Grove, Hop Nation and Blackman’s Brewery with Small Batch, DC Coffee, Cartel and Red Bean manning the bean machines.
When: Sunday, 2 April
Where: 3 Ravens Brewery, 1 Theobald Street, Thornbury
