The prestigious, one-of-a-kind Le Dîner En Blanc is returning to Melbourne this March for another spectacularly white year.
In 1988 Francois Pasquier wanted to host a picnic with friends. He requested that everyone dress in all white, so they would be able to recognise each other easily. Since then, Diner En Blanc has grown exponentially from a humble picnic with friends to one of the biggest foodie and cultural events in the world.
Over 2500 foodies are expected to attend this event hailing from France, with the secret outdoor location to be announced hours before the event. Promising impeccable style, delectable food and dancing, Le Dîner En Blanc is an entirely unique experience you’d be sorry to miss.
This is the third Le Dîner En Blanc hosted in Melbourne, you’ll need to BYO your own picnic table, chairs, white linens, cutlery and meals. If you’re not much of a master chef at home, there is a catered picnic option available. Since you’ll be wearing white from head-to-toe, we recommend leaving the spaghetti at home—perhaps for afterwards once you’re back in PJs?
You can register to be on the waiting list for Le Dîner En Blanc here, or con an existing member to bringing you as their plus one.
