After opening his smokehouse restaurant San Antone at Crown Resorts late last year, BBQ legend and all-round American Hero Kevin Bludso is returning to Australia in the months leading up to Christmas for exclusive master-classes.
In celebration of Good Food Month, guests can learn all about the ‘slow and low’ cooking techniques that have been a family specialty for generations. Learn about the secret Texan spices and styles of one of the US’ most famous BBQ chefs just before holiday celebrations in the last months of the year.
‘BBQ 101’ (9 & 10 November) will see Bludso teach you how to cook juicy turkey, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs and tender beef brisket. A few days later, ‘Let’s Talk Turkey With Kevin’ (13 November) will get you a three course turkey dinner with all the trimmings, accompanying drinks and tips about how to smoke the best turkey this Christmas, all for only $60.
What’s more, if you can’t be bothered slaving away at home to cook your family the perfect Christmas lunch, San Antone by Bludso’s BBQ will also be smoking take-away turkeys, available for order from the 14th of November. And don’t worry, he has all the sides covered too, including sweet potato mash and house-made cranberry sauce.
