Iconic Melbourne venue, Cherry Bar, will reopen its doors on Wednesday 24 June.
Cherry Bar—which moved from its legendary ACDC Lane address to the former Boney location on Little Collins Street last year—was forced to close early in the year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, after being shuttered for three months, the bar will reopen with a non-traditional 'dinner and a show'. The show will be headlined by legendary Melbourne guitarist Phil Para, but if you can't manage to head along and to see him live, you can buy a ticket to check out the live stream on the Cherry Bar website.
Buying a ticket to the show tonight (limited to 20 people) starts at $89 per person and gets you reserved table seating, food from Tazio, three drinks each (including cocktails), and a Cherry Bar tea towel. Buy a table for tonight's show here.
Cherry Bar owner James Young is also running a Pozible campaign to help get the bar back in black. The campaign has almost hit its $75,000 target, you can donate here and help keep Cherry Bar around for years to come.
With restrictions not being eased just yet in Melbourne, venues have had to pivot once again. Cookes Food is selling produce they bought for an upcoming dinner series in their 'Friday Fire Sale', buy some amazing produce here.
