Get Happy: You Can Score FREE Burgers This Sunday

Have your hunger at the ready—Melbourne’s latest installment of free food is here, and we all know the drill by now.

To celebrate International Burger Day (what do you mean it’s not in your diary, you utter sham?), Chur Burger at HOYTS Chadstone is dishing out 500 deliciously greasy freebies.

The finest (and obviously most efficient) way to achieve your daily intake of protein and dairy, HOYTS Chur Burger will be giving away their glorious classic burger to the first 500 excessively keen foodies on Sunday 28 May. Grilled beef, cheese, tomato jam, mustard mayo and pickles will be sandwiched between two buns, which you’re invited to spill all over your shirt in HOYTS Chadstone’s new, lush cinema.

The burger giveaway will kick off at 11.30am, sharp. If you love burgers, but not as much as you love sleeping in, lettuce help. Once the freebie burgs are sold out (given Melbourne’s long and complicated history with free food, it won’t take long), a tenner will buy you a killer burger and chips combo for the rest of the day. Eyes on the fries, team.

The best part is that you’re welcome to tote your Chur Burger order into HOYTS Chadstone—no smuggling required. Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop and Artie’s Bar & Café are also open for lunch and dinner, so you can dig into flavours like Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Totally Baked ice-cream while you laugh and cry through some of the epic blockbusters playing at the moment— Alien: Covenant, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Get Out, or Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 just to name a few.

To top things off, the cinema is fully licensed, so you can enjoy a cheeky glass of red with your free burger, all from the comfort of your own leather reclining chair. Heaven, is that you?
