Melburnians are being treated to a brand spankin' new arts and culture festival with this Thursday's launch of Glow Winter Arts Festival, a celebration of the City of Stonnington's vibrant arts scene.

Running until 24th August, Glow Winter Arts Festival will showcase the immense creative talent found in the City of Stonnington, one of Melbourne's great arts and culture hubs, with a series of 50 events happening over 11 days.

From the landmark Exxopolis installation to foodie film events, comedy clubs to live music, Glow Winter Arts Festival has something for everyone.

Not sure where to start? Keep reading for our top 5 picks from the inaugural Glow Winter Arts Festival

The Glow Winter Arts Festival kicks off with a bang, with the arrival of the Exxopolis luminarium, an incredible one-of-a-kind exhibit direct from the UK. An inflatable sculpture designed by Architects of Air, Exxopolis features a series of winding tunnels, domed roofs and light projects that attendees can walk through and explore – it's truly like stepping into another world! Exxopolis is so massive (53 metres in length and 9 metres in height to be exact!) that the only space big enough to house the exhibit is the rooftop carpark at Jam Factory. Set to be the must-see event of the Glow Winter Arts Festival, Exxopolis tickets are already selling fast, so best you get booking ASAP!
