Australia’s largest Harry Potter concept store will be launching at Myer on Bourke Street this Friday, 18 October. Now, for those of you who haven’t left the building to camp out in front of Myer yet, here are some deets.
Wizarding World fans will have access to 500 square metres of epic Harry Potter products, from toys, costumes, gifts, stationery to a megaton of Instagramable opportunities.
We’re talking a huge Platform 9 ¾ display, a dedicated Harry Potter & The Cursed Child ticket booth, a cabinet collection of 20 special Wizarding World character wands and a Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort LEGO mural. Whaaaa?
Plus all the stuff in Myer’s store is actually legit Warner Brothers merch, so you’ll get none of those knockoff figurines here. We’re talking OG merch, so fork over those Galleons, baby.
As if all that wasn’t enough, on launch day, the cast from the Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will perform ‘WAND DANCE’, an excerpt from the award-winning stage play, live on Bourke Street Mall outside Myer at 12 pm.
Other store launch activities will take place between 10 am and 4 pm, including face painting, product demonstrations and more, so don’t miss it.
