Love fashion? Hate spending lots of money on beautiful things? You're gonna want to read this.
Melbourne's massive Hawkeye Vintage Sale is dropping in South Yarra next week, and it's here to cure your high-end-fashion woes.
To celebrate their return from a two-month round-the-world buying trip, the angels at Hawkeye Vintage are putting on an epic 3-day warehouse sale (August 31 to September 2) with over 2500 high-end designer pieces from the 1970s – 1990s millennial.
All of the clothing and accessories are unworn, with the original tags and prices still attached, so you know you’re getting the real deal.
Where does all this stuff come from? The families of three anonymous high-profile fashion collectors (raise a glass to them) have decided to unload their entire stock. And that include brands like Gucci, Chanel, YSL, Salvatore, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Versace and Fendi.
There's gonna be clothing, jewellery, scarves, hats, gloves, belts, handbags and crowds, all ranging from just 20 bucks to $2500 (the handbags, not the crowds).
Word on the street is, there’s a Valentino coat going for a quarter of its original price, and almost an entire 1970s Gucci collection up for grabs, which btw, has been replicated in current collections.
It’ll definitely be first-in, best-dressed with this one, guys. We’re planning on camping out on the street for this tbh, so we’ll see you there (but you better not get your hands on that YSL Safari suit, that sh*t is ours).
When: 31 August (10am – 7pm), 1 September (10am – 5pm), 2 September (10am – 2pm)
Where: 15 Simmons St, South Yarra
