It wasn’t too long ago that Leonard’s House Of Love was graced with the presence of Newtown’s own Mary’s, and now it’s just been announced that this time they’re in Melbourne they’ll be going one better—hosting their own pop-up in the CBD.

It’ll all go down on Little Collins Street, with the pop-up bringing together the Mary’s crew—co-founders Jake Smyth, and Kenny Graham—and the brains behind Black Pearl Bar, Matt Stirling, Rob Libecans, and Ryan Noreiks labelled Mary’s x Fancy Free.

“Mary's loves Melbourne and being welcomed in by some of the city’s most elite hospo talent was an offer too good to pass on. That and it's gonna be so much fucking fun!” says Kenny Graham.

On the menu you can expect the usual Mary’s classics like the Mary’s Burger, cheeseburger, mushroom burger, fried chook, and mash ‘n’ gravy, with the Fancy Free team looking after a drinks list that features an ever-changing list of local beers, wine, and fancy drinks that are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

“Burgers, fried chicken, fancy cocktails from some fancy fuckers and natural vino from some of our faves will be flowing freely into the streets of the 3000!! 2 months of getting Fat and Fancy Free ahead is coming!” said Mary’s Jake Smyth.

The Mary’s x Fancy Free pop up will run for two months at 381 Little Collins Street.
