Melbourne has already done its best to outdo itself this winter, but now we’re going one step further—a 12-hour Nicolas Cage marathon at one of the city’s most loved cinemas.
To quote the great man himself "OH, NO! NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES! AAAAAHHHHH! OH, THEY'RE IN MY EYES! MY EYES! AAAAHHHHH! AAAAAGGHHH!", and that’s exactly what we’ll be thinking as the team from the Melbourne International Film Festival choose 7 films from more than 70 Cage classics to inject straight into our eyeballs on August 10.
This special event is 1 of 3 events MIFF will be hosting following on from the success of 2017’s all-night sci-fi marathon at The Astor Theatre.
MIFF has guaranteed that the event will be “the perfect blend of classic-Cage, underrated-Cage and WTF-Cage”. We’re hooked already.
Tickets are on sale now. Grab them at MIFF.com.au.
