Here’s a festival that will speak to many people. Melbourne is finally getting a festival dedicated to the legendary chicken parma.

The Ascot Lot this weekend will play host to Parma-Rama, a festival that celebrates everything good about the chicken parmigiana. As usual, there will be a plethora of food trucks on hand to dish out their interpretation of chicken parma.

The likes of Just Like Nonna’s (Parma Burger), Burrito Bae (Mex Parma), and Parma Bites (Popcorn Chicken Parma) will all be wheeled in to keep you happy. You’ll also be able to get your hands on a vegan parma, and vego options like an eggplant parmigiana.

The Ascot Lot’s famous $10 espresso martinis will be there as usual, and you can grab yourself $10 jugs of The Lot Lager, and Cider with any parma purchase.

On the music front, DJ Fragile Future will be spinning tracks to bring the good vibes, and as usual, dogs are extremely welcome.

It’s free to get in, so what’s stopping you?
