Wellness seems to be the buzzword of the decade, but it’s for good reason. We’re all working longer hours than ever, staring at screens for almost every waking hour and most of us struggle to get our daily two and five. So wellness is there to serve as a reminder that we need to take care of ourselves. And after a long, cold Melbourne winter, we’ve got just the thing for you.
Peninsula Hot Springs, also known as Victoria’s first natural hot spring, is inviting you down south on 22 and 23 September for World Wellness Weekend. In case you missed it, they’re about to open the doors on an incredible $13 million expansion, including a brand new Bath House Amphitheatre. Take it from us, it’s absolutely s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g.
World Wellness Weekend is your chance to take part in hot springs yoga, pilates, sound bathing meditations, body clay workshops, forest walks, wellness talks and tea ceremonies. Sounds like just what the doctor ordered, eh?! You’ll also get to experience Peninsula Hot Springs’ newest hot springs (there’s seven of them) and the Fire and Ice zone which includes two 30 person saunas, an ice cave, deep freeze, cold plunge pool and ice plunge pool.
To top it all off there’ll be live music and healthy treats going around throughout the whole weekend.
So where do you sign up? Right here! Spaces are limited, so you’re going to want to secure your spot ASAP. All you need to do is purchase a Wellness Journey and Bathe experience on either Saturday 22 or Sunday 23 September.
And if you’re looking for somewhere extra fancy to stay to keep those good vibes flowing, check out Jackalope.
