Australia Day weekend is shaping up to be another scorcher of a weekend in the world’s second most liveable city. Luckily, the legends at Port Melbourne’s The Exchange have decided to take things beachside to help you beat the heat.

This will be the first-ever beach club ever set up on Port Melbourne’s golden sands, and it feels as though it’s taken too long for this to become a reality.

The pop-up beach club will run from Australia Day through until Monday and features a multi-level container bar, live music, hot food, and, of course, the coldest of cold drinks.

You can also take part in volleyball, face painting, totem tennis, and there will be plenty of deck chairs on hand for you to work on your tan.

The Details

What: Pop-up Beach Club
When: Saturday 26 January – Monday 28 January. 12pm – 9pm daily.

Where: Port Melbourne Beach, Beaconsfield Parade, Port Melbourne
