If you’re like half of the Urban List team, you’ve probably had Sea Life Melbourne’s live streams blissfully playing on the second screen while you work from home. And now, after having several months acquainting yourself with the sea dragons, jellyfish and sharks, you’re able to join your underwater compadres for a private dinner in the aquarium itself.
There are seven locations where you can choose to dine within Sea Life, including the shark tunnel and the seahorse pier, though predictions are that table inside the newly opened, million-dollar jellyfish exhibition will be the first to go.
You’ll need a haul of at least 10 mates to book out one of the spaces at a price of $2,000. Along with uninterrupted views of the chosen location, each guest will be served up a three-course dinner, two hours of bevs and a cocktail on arrival. Post-feeding-time, you and your friends will have access to the aquarium for a self-guided tour.
The package is available at a discounted price for a limited time, so get onto that ring-around if you’re planning on locking in a table. For those after a more casual experience, Sea Life Melbourne is open to the public with additional health measures in place.
The NGV is also set to reopen. Find out the details here.
