We're all well and truly up to speed with what we can and can't get delivered to our doors in Melbourne right now.
When lockdown 2.0 hit, Melbourne's restaurants and cafes were quick to change tact and go back to their takeaway offerings of the previous lockdown. Check out our list of great takeaway options here.
With us unable to take road trips right now, the next best thing is getting the amazing dishes we miss, and crave, delivered to the loungeroom—and thankfully, amazing venues like Jackalope Hotel on the Mornington Peninsula are coming to the party.
Jackalope Hotel is serving up ready-made meals from their venue Rare Hare, with dishes ready to heat and eat for $45 per person.
An order gets freshly baked bread, two set sides, a choice of three mains, and the option to add a dessert, which can include Black Star Pastry's amazing strawberry watermelon cake.
The menu changes weekly with orders needing to be placed by midday Wednesday for a Peninsula-wide delivery (Friday and Saturday), or Melbourne metro delivery on Saturday.
Black Star Pastry in St Kilda will act as the Melbourne pick-up point for Rare Hare.
You can also order wine and cocktails to go with your order, check out this week's menu here.
We're all itching to explore Victoria once again, here are some towns to visit when restrictions eventually ease.
