If you are a Richmond resident, chances are you've driven, strolled or cycled past 684 Bridge Road over the past few months, seen the signage for Romulus & Remus and felt a shiver of excitement. What was it to be – a deli, a grocer, a café?
Fast-forward a few months, and the retail-cum-dining strip has welcomed a new arrival – an Italian restaurant dedicated to the art of feasting.
Dishing up Primi that includes flour-dusted calamari with chilli and garlic, tossed in lemon oil, with dressed rocket leaves, gourmet pizzas and hearty pastas, eye fillet steaks and pork loin, plus dolci, dolci, dolci, Romulus & Remus is now serving the fine people of Richmond lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
Feeling share-y? Head to the Condividi portion of the menu: there's a 600g T-bone or marinated butterfly grilled chicken for two, or families of four can sink their fangs into the boned lamb leg filled with artichoke stuffing. Yum!
Seating up to 140 patrons, there is a distinct communal vibe about this stylish space, with shared tables, booths and private dining options available. Romulus & Remus is all about sharing and community – food and wine with family and friends.
We'll clink our boutique local beer (on tap) to that!
