Sake’s cool little brother, Sake Jr, is moving in to Melbourne this month and you’ll be happy about it if you’re the kind of human who has grand plans to meal prep a week’s worth of healthy lunches, but never quite follows through (guilty!).
They are the masters of high quality, Japanese and Korean fusion food without the fuss and Exhibit A is their entirely customisable “Build Your Own Bowl” menu. It’s a pretty foolproof system, so you’ll just have to choose your rice, noodle or salad base, then add in your favourite protein before topping it off with unlimited vegetables, sauces, toppings and garnishes.
The folks over in Sydney went a little bit nuts at their Sake Jr launch, so they’ve decided to up the ante in Melbourne with three days of awesome freebies. There's more than 600 free bowls up for grabs plus brekkie, but they'll go quick so you should probably get in there early. All you have to do to pick one up is be the first in line and follow Sake Jr on Facebook or Instagram. It’s basically the easiest meal you’ve ever had to work for. And by work, we mean getting to eat totally instaworthy food, for free. Think Sake specialities like popcorn shrimp, robata grilled chicken, miso glazed fish, and wagyu beef.
Seriously, is there anything better than free food?
Whilst your there be sure to check out their healthy breakfast menu, cold pressed juices, smoothies and grab and go’ items such as dumplings, soups, salads and sushi rolls. Best of all, it's all super affordable!
